Subway Rage is like road rage
Everyone has heard of “road rage.” However, there is something just as dangerous that people should be aware of when travelling underground, “subway rage.”
Subway Rage can occur in a variety of circumstances:
1. When people will not move to let you off the train even when you said “excuse me;”
2. When people get right in front of the train doors and will not “step aside” to let you off;
3. When people are pushing to get in and you have no where to go to;
4. When you are waiting too long for a train over 15 minutes during rush hour;
Here are some ways to avoid dealing with Subway Rage:
1. Avoid traveling during “rush hour”;
2. If you are not in a rush, wait for the next train or two after a long gap of waiting.
3. Take a deep breath and count to 10 before doing anything that you might regret later.
