Even if you would rather not admit it, there’s a least a little bit of ‘geek’ inside all of us. Your inner, or outer, geek will definitely be satisfied by The Compleat Strategist, an excellent gaming store on East 33rd Street. Inside the small but superb establishment are shelves full of role playing games, board games, puzzles, cards, and of course, strategy games. You’ll definitely find something to your liking, whether it be a present for a young relative’s birthday, your friend who fancies himself a Dungeon Master, or if you wave your geek flag proudly, yourself. There’s always something new to discover as expansion packs flood in by the box load, and intricate sets and games constantly invite you to take them up as a new hobby. I went in there and bought a nice set of green sparkly dice…you know, just in case…
