Awash Fine Ethiopian Cuisine
It was another work afternoon in the city. I had intentions of going home and scraping up leftovers when I got a call from a long-time friend. She was going to see an Off-Off-Broadway play and wanted to know if I wanted to come along. She also recommended that we eat Ethiopian.
I had to wait for my friends for over 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait. We decided to have a vegetarian platter and a combined meat and veggie platter. We also decided to top it off with red honey wine.
We got full pretty quickly. Now that’s a good sign of a restaurant.
