I would go back and forth on Watts occasionally waiting for this restaurant to open. It was long worth the wait. I attended Lola is Soul as a guest at a private function. The ambiance for me seems like a revival. The royal purple and gold ceiling trimmings set the standard for the dining atmosphere. [...]

If you didn’t know the A train line recently celebrated 75 years of service. I decided to pay homage by saluting the old school. Listen to Duke Ellington and his Orchestra play ‘A” Train.

Boy was I surprised last week, when my friend calls me and said that she scored tickets for Avenue Q. It was just what the Dr. order after a week of madness and mayhem in Gotham. The play reminded me to stay true to myself despite obstacles that may arise.

I went to Zanzibar for a social function. I was only expecting drinks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. I shared the Grilled Baby Lamb Chops with a friend and I had the Chorizo al Vino to myslef. Both dishes had dates which gave a fruity balance. I ate and I didn’t have [...]
